Handprinted fennec lino print

Description

I love fennec foxes – they are soo cute with their big ears. So I had do create a fennec lino print. For this one I actually carved two lino blocks, but I didn’t like the way my first attempt looked like – you can see it in my blog post about how made the print here. I made a few changes to the background, fur and tail of my fennec and what you see here is my final version. For the print I used Japanese Hosho paper and Caligo Safewash oil based ink.

Each print is hand printed and therefore unique. Because of this there may be slight variations to the print shown in the image. The paper also might show some flecks – this is part of the paper. The paper has been cut to size with a ruler and shows a little bit of a rough edge.

What the fennec lino print is made with:

• Caligo Safewash, oil based ink in black
• Hosho paper which has been torn to size rather than cut – measuring approximately: 19,5 cm x 28 cm
