Painting: Galaxy
£120.00
This painting reminds of galaxies, so it was rather easy to come up with the title.

Description
I find coming up with titles for my abstract paintings rather difficult, but not for this painting which reminds me of a Galaxy. This was the first painting I attempted on canvas and I really like how it turned out. For this I used the flip cup method, i.e. you layer a small cup with the colours you want and then you flip it on the canvas. For this painting I used white, cyan, magenta and iridescent blue. As the magenta is transparent, but the other colours are opaque, it’s much harder to make out the magenta. It’s rather subtle.
You can hang the painting in any direction you like, as I have signed it on the back. The images show the painting in different directions.
What the painting Galaxy is made off and size.
Size: 8 x 8 inches (20×20 cm)
Please note: The painting has no hanging attached and the signature is on the back. Please allow a week for delivery as I will varnish it before shipping and need to give it time to dry.
The painting will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
Please check out my other paintings in this collection and my smaller tiles from my tile collection which I created from the leftover paints of my canvasses.
