The painting; Feathery started out as a ring pour that didn’t work out and to rescue it I ended up embellishing it.

Description
This painting didn’t go to plan and I ended up calling it Feathery, because of the featherlike appearance. For this painting I tried my hand at a ring pour. The idea is to pour the paint on the canvas in a circle motion, however it takes a lot of practice and a steady hand. They make it look very easy in the videos! In order to rescue the painting and add some interest I started to create these spikes or swirls which gives this a kind of marbling or feathery effect. For this I used a knitting needle and my ball stylus tools. The colours I used are white, black, gold, red and purple. I quite like it as it is.
You can hang the painting in any direction you like, as I have signed it on the back. The images show the painting in different directions.

Please note: The painting has no hanging attached and the signature is on the back. Please allow a week for delivery as I will varnish it before shipping and need to give it time to dry.
