Curled up cat lino print – edition of 26 lino prints.

Description
As you might have noticed – cats are quite prominent in my work and inspiration for this curled up cat lino print came from our cat and so many other cats I have seen. They are just too cute when they sleep.
For this linocut I have used an Essdee Mastercut block, which feels like rubber, is very soft and super easy to carve.
For the paper I have chosen a Japanese Hosho paper, which is great for hand printing.
A lot of papers are not as they tend to be heavier and are rather difficult to burnish.
The ink I used for this print is Caligo Safewash, which is oil based ink.

Every print is hand printed and therefore unique.
Because of this there may be slight variations to the print shown in the image.
The paper also might show some flecks – this is part of the paper.
The paper has been cut to size with a ruler and shows a little bit of a rough edge .
