Do you love kangaroos? I certainly do – this cute kangaroo sculpture was inspired by Kangaroo Dundee Brolga who has created a sanctuary for orphaned kangaroos and other Australian wildlife in Alice Springs. I haven’t met Brolga yet, but it’s on my bucket list. This sculpture was super tricky to make – I sculpted it with polymer clay in brown, ecru, black and green and had to be baked in stages. Johnny would love to go to a new home 🙂
What the kangaroo sculpture is made with:
- polymer clay in ecru, brown, black, green
- cocktail stick
- wire
- varnish
- small black glass beads
Johnny is one-of-a-kind. He measures about 12 cm (tip of tail to ear) in length and is about 7,5 cm high. You can find also other animal sculptures in the shop.
